Chetan Bhagat'slatest novel isn't about revolutions, like its title suggests. It's the tale of an unrequited love triangle that is set in Varanasi's engineering entrance exam. The love story is set in Varanasi's holy ghats. It's not as speedy like the River that flows through one of the busiest temple cities, and is the scene of 'Revolution 2020. It's a tale of three best buddies from childhood, Raghav, Gopal and Aarti who are struggling to find love and happiness.

Gopal his son, retired teacher, stricken by litigationand debt, was bound to fall head-first and hard in love the daughter of the District Magistrate's daughter the day he snatched one of her chocolate cake for lunch. After the incident, the bond that was formed in the fifth grade grew and developed over the Ganga.

It was marked by many boat trips and incomprehensible love songs. Aarti the daughter of Aarti is honest but doesn't hesitate to look the other way when corrupt deals are struck. Raghav was the second member of the trio and is the most intelligentboy from the village. Many believe that he will bring glory to the small town. He's already passed the JEE which is considered to be an exam that is the Holy Grail for examinations. Bhagat attempts to reflect on the Indian private education system that is often the only option for thousands of students from small towns. Bhagat offers a glimpse of the coaching system for the entrance exam.

This is a dark and eerie representation of what is expected for students that travel into the far corners of India for the course that is designed to brutally take out the weakest. Bhagat's description and idea of a revolution by people are not just simplistic, but as well, it's not complete. The reader is left to wonder until the end what the essence of the revolution will be, if it ever happens. As opposed to being condensed to a couple of chapters at the end, Revolution 2020 deserves more time and better indulgence.

Revolution 2020 is not the main concept of the novel, so the title could've been an alternative title. A typical reader will think of more innovative content than the same story about a girl who is that is laced with corruption.

UTV Motion Pictures has purchased the rights to Chetan Bhagat's newest bestseller, Revolution 2020. Siddharth Ray Kapur, Director of UTV Motion Pictures stated, "We have been in talks with Chetan for some time to do something together." We read the entire book in one sitting , when he shared it with us even though the book had not been released.

Revolution 2020 tells the story of three main characters, Raghav, Gopal and Aarti who's fates intersect. Kapur has created an enthralling story with numerous characters that are well-defined, you are constantly wondering how the story will conclude. Kapur says that the issues he addresses are ones that youngsters today are able to relate to.

3 Idiots featuring Aamir Khan and directed by UTV Motion Pictures, was the highest grossing Indian film of all time.

UTV apparently plans to engage the services of three Bollywood A-list actors to play the leading roles of Raghav, Raghav and Aarti. However, they haven't yet commented on their intentions.

Bhagat says, "UTV finally managed me to seduce." It was a thrilling story with a great team that inspired me to believe that they can accomplish Revolution 2020 justice.
